Top 3.

So.. i realize its been a while since i updated my blog. Especially since Jenna text me yesterday and said, "update your bloghole." So.. here I am. Sorry I am horrible at the blog world. I thought it would be great to have one.. to keep you all updated, but it has been hard to stay up to date.. and to post when important things happen. So... again here is another one of the "Top 3 Things in my Life," posts.

NUMBER 1. Please keep my boyfriend and his family in your prayers. This last weekend his 5 year old nephew passed away in his sleep. Although I only knew the little guy for a short time, he captured my heart. He was a very special little man with down syndrome, he never spoke eloquently, he may not have understood much of the world yet, but he was vibrant, he was lovable, and he was loved. I rejoice, because I know that in heaven he will be perfect, in body, in mind, and in spirit. The funeral is this Saturday, so keep the French family in your thoughts.


NUMBER 2. I'm bringing Archie home this summer! Its a big step that he wants to come and meet everyone! We are looking at coming in July.. I would like to see ALL of you.. soo maybe we can organize a couple of BBQ's, or as they call them here.. a couple of cookouts. I'd love the opportunity for the important people in my life to meet each other!


NUMBER 3. I got a new baby. Her name is Marley. She is a 3 year old beagle that I got from the Williamson County pound. Every southern girl needs a good hound dog. She is still adjusting, learning to live in a new place with a new dog and a new family, but we are working out all the kinks. Here is some pictures.. she is adorable.

I am LOST.

I love the show lost. I can't get enough of it. I don't have cable here.. so every Thursday i watch Wednesday night's episode online. It is really beginning to get ridiculous though. What the heck are they going to think of next. I still love it. I can't help it.

She came from the land down under....

So.. i had an old friend from high school come to visit this last weekend! She was an exchange student from Australia when I was a freshman. She has currently been teaching in London, and decided to get out and travel while she was out of Australia. She had already booked a flight to Oregon to visit her host family and a few friends from her time on exchange.. but when she found out I was down here she asked to come for the weekend. She was able to find a flight and we had a great time! I took her to all the old Honky Tonks, and we saw some ice hockey.. its one thing they don't have in Australia. She loved it! Here are some pictures!

I had my first couple of Tornado warnings in Tennessee. The first one (where I took these pictures) was while I was at work at Starbucks and it wasn't too scary. The second one I was home alone with my dog copper in a closet waiting for the advisory to go away. They say that if there is a tornado outside it sounds like a train, so every time the thunder would intensify... i would freak out and say, "is that a train?" I survived though.. and the clouds look cool so here are some pictures from the day i felt adventurous!

Starbucks Iced Coffee.. the new gateway drug.

Wow. I really believe Starbucks Iced Coffee is the new gateway drug. It is readily available and legal. I really believe its like crack.... on ice. I'm feeling the results this morning. Can you have a hang over from coffee? I feel horrible.. it is sad to say but I feel like an addict who needs their next hit. Just waiting to get to work at 9:30 this morning for my fix. I can't even function. I think I have a problem.

Its been waaaay too long since I have updated you all. I'm sorry. My computer chord was shot and had to get a new power chord for my laptop. I'll try and give you a little update. Hopefully I'll be a better blogger again. Love you all.
